When that rhino hay hits…

Enrichment comes in many forms. For our lions, Pelo and Shakura, one of their favorite forms of enrichment is left over rhino hay. Rhino Harmon gets the hay nice and stinky before we put it in the yard for the lions to discover.

Our amazing maintenance crew have been working all morning to get the zoo ready to open. We are back to our regular hours and will open at 9:30am today.

Due to current weather conditions, the Zoo will be closing at 2pm today. We will continue to assess conditions and will make a decision about opening up the Zoo on Thursday when we have more information. Thank you for your understanding.
