Back to the future! Repurposing a Savage Smyth crate that was once used to deliver and return glass bottles of soft drinks into a handy way of storing Re-turn plastic bottles and bringing them back.
It was also used as a stand for a bee hive many years ago!

It's a pity that #Cobh , with almost 15000 people seems to be falling between the cracks! No theatre, no cinema, no function room, the only public exhibition space booked out to 2026. And Cork County Council ignoring this opportunity for Cobh people with this building derelict for 15 years.

Right place, right time. The majestic St Colman's Cathedral, the iconic and quirky houses of West View and a full moon amongst the clouds make for a uniquely Cobh photo.

Eagerly awaiting the announcement of the 2023 results on 6th October, but we have all of these to display now, showing just how well the Cobh Community is doing in this huge competition.

What a day in Cobh. 70 years to the day since Laurel and Hardy visited. Sunshine, nostalgia and good vibrations everywhere!! Delighted to have played a small part in making the 14th European Sons of the Desert Convention a resounding success.

Lots of sense in this article. Gardens have the earliest pollen and nectar from plants like Muscari, Crocus, Rosemary and Vinca. I'm all for protecting biodiversity which can provide abundant food at peak season for insects. But early sources are vital.
