Curriculum is important & does need reviewing but by the profession. It isnโ€™t, however, the most pressing educational issue & reforming it wonโ€™t result in an influx of trainee teachersโ€ฆ.

People are starting to spout good curriculum = good behaviour. Itโ€™s not that simplistic.

Many trainees may be thinking about ECT starting in sept. For English, I'd suggest practising writing in the Grade 9 GCSE style for the books you'll be teaching. It'll boost your confidence and knowledge, and help preempt common misconceptions. Mark them with your mentor. 1/2
