A battling performance by our Year 10 football team this evening. We sadly lost in the semifinal of the County Cup to a competitive Downend side, 2-4 AET. The attitude & levels of effort by the whole team was exemplary & a credit to Hanham Woods Academy 🏳️‍🌈 Well done lads. #OurTimeWillCome

Some lucky year 9s were visited today by script writer and actor Flo from Papatango to help them craft their monologues ready for professional actors to perform in a few weeks. Thanks Flo and Mrs Weatherall for organising such a great opportunity.

Following on from Festival of Culture last week, this week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week! Assemblies this week are focused on educating students further about neurodiversity.

Hanham Art Department Hanham Woods Art celebrated the Festival of Culture day exploring the tradition of making ceramic figures inspired by the Nok People of Northern Nigeria and contemporary artist Grayson Perry.
