Umar ibn al-Khattab رض reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

❝Do not exaggerate my status as the Christians have done with the son of Mary. Verily, I am only a servant, so refer to me as the servant of Allah and His Messenger.❞

(Bukhārī 3445)

❝If you don’t do something everyday to raise your īmān (state of belief), know that it is coming down - just like a hot air balloon: unless you raise it up with hot air, it will start to come down.❞

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“The state of repentance - tawbah, is at the beginning, the middle and the end of all states of submission to the will of Allāh. The servant who seeks the pleasure of Allāh never abandons tawbah. He remains in the state of tawbah until his death…

There’s too much jealousy going around. Do what you must without having to shout out to the world. Success isn’t loud. Work in silence. There’s no need to tell the world your next move. The Almighty knows and He is the only One who deserves to know everything.

Part of relationship is actually tawakkal.

You can put so much effort to be better for your partner. You can do so much for your loved ones.

But at the end of the day, you'll never know what's gonna happen in the future with your partner.

Do your best, make prayers, tawakkal.

Tawakkul: Rely on Allah swt, put your trust in the most wise the all knowing, He never burdens a soul more than it can handle.

When you can't change something, Increase your dua with Tahajjud

Ya Allah ﷻ protect me from being attached to something that will not benefit me in my akhirah.

Don’t take your sins lightly. You may think you’ve done nothing wrong but you forgot how you shouted at the housekeeper when you lost your temper; the person you pushed aside so you got ahead of the queue. May the Almighty help us to constantly reflect on our shortcomings.

The Almighty doesn’t waste anything. Everything we go through is part of our life’s journey. The tests, the trials, the difficulties, the delays, the unfair situations; they all serve their purpose eventually. Trust His Plans.
