HM Customs is very saddened to hear the news of the appalling incident that occurred this evening in Barbate, which has taken the lives of two Guardia Civiles, and caused injuries to a third.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the officers and their families. 🙏🏽

A proud day for HM Customs Gibraltar. This is the first medal presented to Customs Officers. ECO Kenneth Alvarez, who has worked hard for officers to receive this recognition, accepts the Coronation Medal from HRH The Princess Royal.

Customs Officers Howick & Castrey conducted a three day dog relicensing assessment with an instructor from MET Police.

Both have been assessed on various scenarios, testing their knowledge and searching capabilities. This enables HMC to deploy cash & drug detecting dogs.

Customs Officers Piri and Llufrio were recognised on Saturday the 24th June 2023 at the St John’s awards ceremony, for their exemplary dedication to promoting the vision and mission of St John’s Ambulance. Congratulations to both officers.

At approximately 2:30am today HM Customs officers conducting an operational response to curtail illicit tobacco activity at Neil Piñero road intercepted a vehicle containing 750 cartons of cigarettes. The car was found abandoned by the approaching officers and no arrests made.

Busy long weeked at sea for Customs Officers.

On Sat night HMC Sentinel chased a rhib which allegedly was full of drugs.

Sun night saw a repeat of the activity, officers picked up some of the spoils which was jettison by the suspect rhib before leaving BGTW.

Last month HM Customs officers attended Search of Vehicle and Search of Pleasure Craft courses held by the United Kingdom Border Force at their Search Skills Academy at Dover.

On International Women’s Day we celebrate our Women Customs Officers. It is an honour to work alongside you every day 👮🏽‍♀💙

Students from St Paul's Primary School recently visited HM Customs as part of 'How People Help us' in the local community. We showed them how officers protect Gibraltar. On the day they got to see what tools we use for this.
