I’m receiving news Dr Mohamed Muizzu is seriously considering making Saudha as the new Majlis Speaker given the huge majority PNC has won and she’s the only one he can fully trust.

Such a huge majority comes with risk too so Saudha is a safe choice for Muizzu.

We might see Ahmed Azaan in 241 Committee (Committee on National Security Services). I can't think of a more eligible MP.

🔹In 2019, PPM/PNC (opposition party) won 8 seats in an 87 seat parliament, that's 9.19%.

🔹In 2024, MDP (opposition party) is expected to win 16 seats in a 93 seat parliament, this is 16.12%.

🔹So technically speaking, MDP still did better today as opposition party.
