This summer, Jonathan Letona completed the construction skilled trades program through CalAPS at Mayfair High School in Lakewood, CA. "I absolutely think more kids should have this opportunity," Jonathan said of the program. "It really helps shape you as a person."

This summer, more than 50 students participated in a Skilled Trades Summers program taught by Dynamic Education at Port of Los Angeles High School. Students earned certifications in areas like electrical, plumbing, carpentry and welding based on the classes they enrolled in.
