On August 16, HACLA & BHI celebrated our Digital Ambassadors! 🎉 Congrats to our Ambassadors for bridging the digital divide. This year, we served 10,000 residents, enrolled 32 Ambassadors, and distributed 500 devices through the ACP, helping nearly 4,000 connect online. 💻

On 8/8, HACLA celebrated the Grand Opening of Burbank Senior Housing by Mercy Housing. This new community offers 55 apartments for homeless seniors 55+, with supportive services and amenities. Funded by Measure HHH and tax-exempt bonds, it addresses critical housing needs.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the #GrandOpening 🎀✂️ of Burbank Boulevard Senior Housing. The 55-unit development will serve unhoused seniors living with mental illness and special needs. We provided $4.7 million in No Place Like Home funds for the project. #TBT #Housing

On 8/22, we celebrated the Grand Opening of The Iris at 2444 S Barry Ave! Developed by Affirmed Housing, this 61-unit affordable community includes 34 units for homeless individuals, with services by The People Concern.

West LA has a new affordable and supportive housing development! 🙌 The Iris includes 61 apartments, with 34 units set aside as supportive housing for formerly unhoused individuals and the remaining apartments reserved for families and individuals making between 30-80% AMI.
