Victory in Europe Day
On this day in 1945 Axis forces in Europe surrendered. The 8th Army’s 4th Indian Division, containing thousands of Gurkhas had fought fiercely in Italy. Rifleman Sherbahadur Thapa and Thamang Gurung both received Victoria Crosses during the Italian campaign

More than 5000 people witnessed and enjoyed the historic friendly football match between the Nepal National Football Team and England C Team on 26th May 2024 at Aldershot EBB Football stadium. Well done to the England team who secured the win 2-0.
