Was too busy to tweet it at the time but I was wondering iif the Astros would have Kyle Tucker try to steal second in the 10th to stay out of the double play. Understand the arguments for and against, and hindsight is, of course, 20/20.

Good comp here. All dynasties eventually end, but obviously better to be one at some point than never winning at all. Think plenty of longtime Astros fans can live through however this season turns out given what’s been achieved during this era.

Costly miscues hurting the Astros today: Not adding to their lead in the fifth with second and third and that error in the 8th that gave the Braves an extra out.

Bryan Abreu did his job. Ryan Pressly, who hasn't pitched since Friday, is now warming up to presumably handle the eighth inning.

For a rare instance this season, the Astros will have a lead and chance to trot out their late-innings trio of Bryan Abreu, Ryan Pressly and Josh Hader.

The Braves' leadoff hitter has reached against J.P. France in various ways:
1st: Single
2nd: Home run
3rd: Error
4th: Strikeout, wild pitch

112 mph off the bat of Marcell Ozuna on that homer followed by 102.9 on Orlando Arcia's double. Braves have made solid contact off J.P. France, to say the least.

FYI, this is Max Fried's first start in Houston since Game 6 of the 2021 World Series. I think you know what happened that night.
