We met at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona this Memorial Day to honor our fallen heroes.

Surrounded by service members, veterans, and their families, we were reminded of the sacrifices these fearless men and women made for our freedom.

On Memorial Day, we come together to memorialize the brave men and women who laid down their lives for us.

Today, I encourage every Arizonan to reflect on their lives and think about how they give back to their communities in their honor.

The only thing Arizonans should have to worry about after receiving medical care is getting better — so we worked to relieve up to $2 billion of medical debt right here in Arizona.

Alfredo Gutierrez embodies the tenacious and crusading spirit that defines the people of Arizona. It was my honor to welcome him to the Executive Tower to congratulate him on graduating from ASU — 56 years after he was kicked out for leading a student march.

We’re making Arizona the best state to live for generations to come. My administration has invested millions into improving our public schools so every Arizona child can have a shot at a brighter future. ⭐

We’re making progress in securing Arizona’s water future. The historic Colorado River agreements we reached with the federal government, neighbors and Tribal partners will ensure our reservoirs are stabilized for the next 3 years & protect Arizonans from drastic, forced cuts.

It’s my pleasure to welcome Jadyn Fisher to the Arizona Board of Regents as the newest student regent. I have no doubt that Jadyn’s passion for elevating student voices and advocating for student needs will be an asset to the board and university students.

I’m committed to protecting our seniors. I spent time with Pascua Yaqui Tribe seniors at the Liogue Senior Center in Tucson to make sure they know that. It was such an honor to hear from everyone.
