Yesterday, we visited St. Louis Community College and St. Charles Community College in the STL region. It was great to see the workforce development improvements happening on campus and share copies of No Turnin' Back!

Today MO Public Safety Director Sandy Karsten, MSHP General HQ Colonel Olson, and I traveled to McAllen, TX to receive a briefing on Operation Lone Star from Texas Department of Public Safety, visit MSHP troopers stationed in McAllen, and observe Missouri’s ongoing border deployment.

Thank you to each of the of MSHP General HQ troopers who have volunteered to help secure the border and protect our nation. Every state is a border state and I appreciate Governor Mike Parson’s leadership in addressing the ongoing border crisis.

The First Lady and I were proud to join Hawthorn Foundation - for Missouri last night in recognizing Gary Forsee for his many achievements and honoring him with the Kit Bond Citizen Leadership Award. We thank him for his years of service and commitment to the state of Missouri!
