I loved seeing so many Kentucky families at the Derby Kick-off over the weekend. This event has become one of my favorite parts of the season. Only four more days til Derby!

It felt great to join local veterans Albert Wess, David Downey and William Woodford yesterday in Paris. We broke ground on the new solid waste and recycling center, making good on a promise to relocate the waste transfer station outside of the West Side neighborhood.

I’m thankful for our law enforcement’s quick response and for ensuring that all of our state employees were safe. ^AB

It was all smiles at the Derby Week Kick-off on Saturday. The Kazoo Parade was a 10/10 on the cuteness scale!

Join Britainy and me in sending prayers for a swift recovery to Team Kentucky firefighter Zach Garland, who was injured last week while battling a wildfire in Pike County. Your bravery while protecting our commonwealth is nothing short of heroic.

It was an honor to present the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event Champion trophy to Oliver Townend and Cooley Rosalent. Congratulations!
