Also, in my new world, conference championships are determined by dual meets so the end of the year individual tournament is strictly an national qualification event

My new Monday AM idea is to borrow from the ranking series concept and a little from track and swimming (who meet thresholds to qualify, I think) and have NCAA qualification possible throughout the season, instead of just conference events. It could make the regular season
