Earlier this year, Denmark's Rikke Sevecke was diagnosed with a heart condition that forced her to retire at just 27.

I was struck by her strength + ability to find positives in having her life turned upside down. I learned how football needs to do better to protect its players.

The sun was out, the good times were flowing, Chloe Morgan & Girls on the Ball were back together at Box Park… it felt like Euro 2022 all over again!

Would have expected Arsenal to try and move heaven and earth to keep Vivianne Miedema. One of the greatest to have ever graced this league and at just 27, she still has so much to give. Losing her on a free and potentially to a rival doesn't seem like the brightest idea either.
