Super interesting movie. The second half is so remarkably overshadowed by the first half's tenderness and sentimentality, which just gives way to bleakness. I still don't know if that was the entire point or because it ran out of things to say. It's very bold filmmaking.

Learned yesterday that if you search for a news story in Facebook AI, rather than finding posts or links to the story, the AI will generate a summary of the information in the story. Can't possibly imagine anything bad happening there.
