As benefits fraud is in the news, just a reminder 0.2% of PIP claimants are fraudulent.

That is an incredibly low number.

Minuscule.

Benefits fraud isn't a problem in this country.

The government's framing of benefits claimants as fraudulent is the true crime here.

All necessary and unsurprising actions. BUT - I'm concerned at the lack of preparation we have done with communities to enable their trust and acceptance of how these measures will affect their perceptions of safety.
