Good to see the vision. However, we must focus on the “How” not just the what. From a supplier perspective we need a standards adoption process not mandating. Let’s focus on that.

Minor break from my break; NHS England announcing leveraging international standards to support interop. This is a huge leap forwards ... we need to be leading the development of IHE-UK profiles.

The problem with an NHS & social care system that’s got dysfunctional tech adoption is you’re more likely to get stuck with the first tech chosen.

This then rapidly becomes dated - no longer the best or most recent.
