Actually, for difference between means, that 5 goals needs to be multiplied by root2, giving us 7 goals.

So, 6/7 = 0.86, and so, yes, I agree with Gabriel Desjardins , that'll come in ~20%

10 games is ~300 shots faced

Difference between .920 - .900 is .020 or 6 goals

One standard deviation is ~(.27 to .3) x root300 ~= 5 goals

So, 6/5 = 1.2 standard deviations

Right tail of 1 standard deviation = 16%
Right tail of 1.28 SD = 10%

So, 1.2 SD will be in-between

Maybe this change leads the way and the Jets somehow go on a streak.

More likely, the team still loses the one game sample, and I get a bunch of mentions like 'see, it doesn't work.'

There are individuals arguing that the bigger and taller (but slower) are losing to the smaller and shorter (but faster) Avalanche because the Jets need more size.

I have a lot of respect for the professional eye test. Although it comes with its biases, there are ways to account for that and there is still a lot of value.

However, when randoms on Twitter talk about their eye test being 'the eye test', it's not of the same level.

Correlation does not equate causation, and not great timing given no one, and I mean no one, is playing well lately... But I'm going to do this anyways:

Avs offence is outrageous, the finish sharp. When their skaters play this well it hardly matters who the opponent is.

Friedman did suggest that Bowness and Scheifele are not on the same page. Pointed out Mark’s lack of adjustments comment. Also talks about disconnect between the GM who makes the roster and the coach who decides who plays. All of it Cole Perfetti related
