Yesterday, we made history! Arwyn Paulk committed to Hollins University. She accepted the offer of the prestigious Artemis Scholarship for Women in STEM and a spot on their swim team. She is the first swimmer in GP's history to sign with an NCAA team. We are so proud of her!

This morning, we welcomed a Career Exploration Class from Gatlinburg-Pittman High School to the Courthouse. The students had the opportunity to hear from Mayor Waters, Vice Mayor McCarter, and other county officials about their positions and how county government operates.
