Happy 2nd birthday to the Mathew Stracy and Isom labs! We celebrated yesterday for 12 hours, with laser tag, bowling, and many hours in the pub. 2 years has flown by! We are delighted that Dr Kat Toropova will be starting her research group here Dunn_School (and @DunnSchool.bsky.social), supported by a Medical Research Council fellowship. Her group will solve atomic resolution structures, and place them in their cellular context, using multiscale cryo-EM and in situ cryo-ET techniques.
