I’m heartbroken and I’m angry after yet another school shooting. This isn't freedom—freedom is knowing your kids can live safe from gun violence. For too long our leaders have put gun industry profits over our children’s safety. It must end.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Georgia Governor: "Today is not the day for politics or policy…” It’s not too soon to talk policy—it’s too late. Over the last five years, Governor Kemp has passed ZERO policies to stop guns from falling into the wrong hands.

People are fed up with inaction. They are worried about their kids' safety playing outside or going to school. They are demanding our leaders stand up to the gun lobby, close loopholes, and address root causes of gun violence to prevent it in the first place.

No child should ever have to drag their teacher to safety and watch them die. No child should ever fear for their life in their classroom. It’s time to put our anger into action and vote for gun safety leaders who will pass laws to protect our kids.

Gun violence is the number one killer of children and teens in America. But Georgia leaders would rather ban books and whitewash history than close loopholes in gun laws that create the real danger in our classrooms. We must elect leaders with their priorities in check.

Gun violence is only a “fact of life” for students and parents because cowards like JD Vance refuse to vote for the policies that 90% of Americans support. We can’t accept school shootings as normal—we have to keep guns out of the wrong hands.

JD Vance: I don’t want my kids to go to school where you’ve gotta have additional security. And yet, Vance would rather lock down our schools like prisons and hope for the best instead of supporting popular gun laws.
