Wind: The highest low level gust reported was 50KT (93 km/h) at one of our Airport wind sensors, but 57KT (106 km/h) was recorded on top of the Rock! 🌬️
Rain: 39.8mm, much of this falling in just 1 hour. Wettest Oct day since 2012 🌧️

A much brighter day with plenty of sunny spells and highs of 24 Celsius, although the odd shower still possible. Staying breezy with a moderate, sometimes fresh and gusty, westerly or south-westerly.

17 Oct - Good morning #Gibraltar
Early cloud (which could give a spot of rain) soon clearing with spells of hazy sunshine. Cloud increasing into the late afternoon/evening to bring a risk of a few showers. Light mainly E'ly winds, switching SW'ly later. Very warm again, 26-27C

The veil of high cloud will remain for the rest of the afternoon and overnight with the risk of seeing some hazy conditions around dusk and isolated fog patches possibly forming offshore. The wind is expected to ease and turn variable while temperatures fall to 19 Celsius.
