After learning about difference between Banter and Bullying and then discussing what these might look like at school, P5B worked in groups to create anti-bullying themed poems which they shared and presented to their peers ❤️

A huge thank you to Mrs Munro who visited P5B to share how her job requires different elements of Maths. The pupils discovered how shapes and measurement are important to designing costumes, dresses, clothing and hats. The class then measured and created miniature wizard capes.

P5B and Mr Atkinson had a great afternoon listening to the first workshop on the STEM the Flow project hosted by Keep Scotland Beautiful. They are looking forward to investigating rubbish near local water sources and helping to reduce this through designing inventions 🔨

A huge thank to everyone who attended, helped and organised our Family Fun Day. Amongst the highlights was the silent disco, bouncy castle, beat the goalie and soak the teacher! 💦☺️ It was lovely to see so many of our families there.

Day 3 of Sports Week and we continue to be inspired by our visitors! Today, judo player Rachel Tytler visited each class. She brought her bronze Commonwealth Games medal and kindly allowed us to try it on! We don’t know who was more excited - the children or Mr Atkinson! ☺️🥋🥉
