Q: Will there be a way for the charity sector to get in touch with the regulator to report new issues. A: We are open to conversations from individual charities, there is a self reporting pathway, and we're speaking to the CIOF on how to improve communication. #FREvent24

Q: Does the regulator think that tech (AI) could be useful for changing regulation. A: Yes. Keeping up with the pace of change is tricky. Looking to see how we can deploy machine learning to improve regulation.

Q: Do you think the upcoming election will change regulation in the UK. A: We look to be non partisan. The situation for charities will not change overnight. Tech change will not stop. We hope that there's a more positive attitude to charity sector after the election. #FREvent24

Q: Do you think annual complaints data should be more interactive. A: Yes, absolutely. We want charities to be able to submit data and us to receive automatically, we also want others to use the data. #FREvent24

Q: Are there any trends from code review. A: Many orgs in favour of principle based code, wanted to move code into other areas (AI & protecting staff). Need for good guidance, to counter this we are bringing in a guidance specialist. Going to go to consultation again. #FREvent24
