Some of you maybe wondered why I had #Morad in my twitter title. It was only a tiny gesture, but was a recognition that he should have been freed at the same time as Free Nazanin. Tonight, the US government has secured his freedom. Sending joy & gratitude to him and his family.

This image of Siamak Namazi, Morad Tahbaz and Emad Shargi’s first moments of freedom makes me incredibly happy. But it’s also a reminder that these men and their families have had years of their lives stolen from them. I am so relieved they will finally be reunited.

This is such amazing news. I know from watching Nazanin return home last year how emotional a moment this will be for the family.

Having dealt with Morad's amazing daughter Roxanne Tahbaz and his relatives in my constituency, I pay tribute to their relentless campaigning.

Today, Sep 18 marks 8 yrs since I was kidnapped in Iran around 4:15pm Tehran time. For the past 8 yrs, this date has been a black one for me, but not anymore. Congratulations to Siamak, Emad & Morad.
