PostgreSQL caching sequences at connection level is great, unless the app kills it with DISCARD ALL. YugabyteDB has the possibility to cache in the server, not impacted by the reset of connections.

If you moved from Oracle to RDS with SCT you may still have some vendor lock-in. Great to see DataCloudGaze Consulting addressing this to open to all Open source PostgreSQL ecosystem
