The Food Professor Yup. Amazing how much better (and cheaper) dairy products from elsewhere in the world are. Been traveling for a year. Haven’t been anywhere with more expensive/worse dairy, with the possible exception of SE Asia where it’s all imported. And even then, comparable to Canada.

The Food Professor Spoke to the wholesaler and she said the same. During COVID she couldn’t move products fast enough, she was sold out by Victoria Day.
Business is back to normal though she did sell out of herbs faster than usual.
The Food Professor 'increasing oversight” If this is anything like food inspection, government official stopping at businesses to view the location, the condition of the outlet that is serving customers food.. this code will do nothing. Federal tax on fuel, increased tax at every level caused $ ⏫.
The Food Professor The supply managed dairy and poultry industry should be included in the code of conduct, and compelled to provide full transparency to taxpayers. Alternatively, ban supply management! Isn't the goal to protect the consumer and provide a wider range of top quality products?
