Hogwarts for ginormous magical bug assassins!

Who would've thought I'd ever be made to care about a bug? While also contemplating social hierarchies, class relations and racism through the many-faceted eyes. This coming-of-age novel about young magical bug assassins is great.

So it turns out I might be writing a romantic tragedy and if that's the case, I definitely blame K Matar is drafting everything.

And so, MATAR, I suggest the next time we have a recording spot and no guest, we do an episode where you explain to me how to write a romantic tragedy.

IMPORTANT WRITERY QUESTION!

How would a dog swear at or insult someone?

So far I have, 'Your butt smells like you eat vegetables.'

*best lines will be pillaged and used in the next Obsidian Path novel.

Due to the fact the local Dripping Bucket franchise was destroyed in an earlier novel, I have been forced to steal tavern names from the titles of other books.

I've decided Rob J. Hayes (Author of dark epic fantasy)' The Lesson Never Learned makes for an excellent pub.

The awesome folks at Fantasy Book Critic review THE STORM BENEATH THE WORLD!

'Wildly imaginative, and in turns playful and brutal, it's a must read for fans of dark fantasy.'

Indie authors, help me out here. I'm seeing some crazy stuff when doing ad research. What do you spend on ads per month?

If people could RT so I can get a broader sample size, that would be swell. I am a man of science, n=4 will not suffice.

Oh my word, THE STORM BENEATH THE WORLD was only like the best possible indie fantasy book this year. If you haven’t read it yet, give it a shot.

Incredibly unique & utterly engaging, TSBTW has possibly the most unique world settings I’ve read in the last 3 decades!

One third into THE RIVER OF DAYS, the sequel to THE STORM BENEATH THE WORLD, and remembering that insects can't blink in surprise.

What month is it? May?

Gonna try and have this out by the end of the year.
