A new CIES Football Obs study ranks Caracas Futbol Club 5th in the world for “Territorial Anchorage”.

It refers to the % of fielded players in the past 12 months either being nationals of the said league’s country and/or being trained at the club. For Caracas that is 91% and 54%.

The formats and groups for the 2024 Copa Venezuela, which will dedicated to recently passed legend of Venezuelan football Luis Mendoza, have been announced. 🏆

Groups of three will feature teams from the top two tiers, battling for a spot in a 16-team knockout stage.
