Look who’s back Moyer Elementary!
It won’t be full time until July 1st, but how great it was to see Kara Kowalk back at the Ranch collaborating with our team.
Mrs. Kowalk will be the assistant principal when Peter Winkler takes over for the retiring Dawn Laber.
Welcome!

Our 8th graders Highlands Middle are officially heading to high school!
It was great to have the class all together before they become 9th graders in August. Great things await this group. Have an enjoyable summer!

It’s the last day of school!
And it means Dr. Dawn Laber welcomed students to Moyer Elementary at morning dropoff for the last time as principal.
We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Laber’s leadership in our District, both at Highlands Middle and the Ranch.
Enjoy retirement!

It’s official!
The fifth graders Woodfill Elementary are heading off to the middle school and it was a packed house in the gym to send the graduates off with energy and enthusiasm.

The senior officers from the Highlands High School Class of 2024 delivered four beautiful cornhole boards that the Art Club designed for the patients and families at the Fort Thomas VA Hospital.
Seniors have volunteered their time throughout the year at the hospital.

Mike Code is a tremendous teacher, coach, and mentor to young people, and we thank him for making such a positive impact Highlands High School and beyond for the past 26 years.
He’s teaching a summer class, too, so one last group of students will benefit!
Enjoy retirement!

Elementary field day is a spring tradition in Fort Thomas, and it was a beautiful day for our 4th and 5th graders from Johnson Elementary, Moyer Elementary and Woodfill Elementary to meet at Tower Park for races and field events.
Thank you to everyone who came together to make it happen!

Our Highlands High School students are demonstrating that the best way to lead is by serving others.
Thank you for making such a positive difference for the patients and families at the Fort Thomas VA hospital through the “Seniors and Soldiers” initiative.
The Performing Arts Center hosted a fabulous Highlands High School choir concert on Sunday, followed by a student-led baccalaureate for the Class of 2024.
It’s a wonderful venue made all the more impactful by our students sharing their vast talents and interests on stage!
