This afternoon, we researched and presented information on the eight planets within in our solar system! #fpswscience

Today in PSHE we discussed the meaning of First Aid, when someone might need it and how to put someone in the recovery position! ⛑️🩹 #fpswpshe

We had a visit from a dental nurse who emphasised the importance of cleaning our teeth and made us think about the sugars in the food we eat! 🦷🪥

We had so much fun exploring the forest and playing games this morning! ☺️☀️

This morning Mrs McNicholas talked to the whole of KS2 about what is acceptable whilst taking part in Rough-and-Tumble play 👍 FPS_Opal

We have been locating rainforests using atlases. We discovered that they were located around the Equator and the reasons for this ☀️ #fpswgeography

Congratulations to the Learner, Values Victor and Writer of last week! 🤩🤩🤩

We were amazed during our trip inside the Explorer Dome! We could recall some key learning from our Space driver last half term and got to see stars, planets and moons up close! We didn’t want to come out and had lots of questions for our visitor!

A fun start to our Rainforest Workshops this week with Chester Zoo. We discussed the different layers of rainforests and some animals you might spot in each layer!

We enjoyed reading for pleasure outside with our Oreos in the shade this morning! 😊📚☀️

On our way home after a fantastic day at Chester Zoo spotting our favourite animals and those we have looked at as part of our Rainforest study!

What a wonderful last day of the half term exploring Edge Hill University. We had so much fun trying different lessons and seeing a wonderful campus and have left feeling inspired! ☺️
