In the Book of Genesis, the Fall of Man refers to Adam and Eve defying God and becoming self-aware. God eventually destroys mankind in a Great Flood as a failed creation. During FFXVI, Ultima triggers aetherfloods via Primogenesis to rob mankind of their self-awareness (will).
