🌾Crop Cutting Survey in Afghanistan! Estimates wheat yield, household wheat sufficiency & its relations to food consumption score, resilience & more. FAO in Afghanistan started in #Nangarhar , expanding to all 34 provinces to inform key internal decisions on wheat productivity.

More #rainfall is forecasted for #Afghanistan in the coming days. This time north & north-eastern regions are likely to receive up to 20mm/day rainfalls from 09.05 to 11.05.2024. These rainfalls are very essential for rain-fed wheat cultivation in northern plains of Afg.
