Deputy First Minister Shona Robison MSP has welcomed the signing of a new partnership between Scottish Enterprise, HIE and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The agreement will unlock expertise in the design and manufacture of floating substructures used in the offshore wind industry.

HD Hyundai Industries is the world's largest shipbuilding company and a major manufacturer of equipment used in the industry.

The Memorandum of Understanding is the company’s first agreement in Europe on floating offshore wind manufacturing.
