Uganda's first African Grey Parrot Conservation Centre at UWEC has been opened at a ceremony jointly held by Chubu University, JICA & UWEC. The centre will advance research & Conservation Education.The grey parrot is the World's most traded bird, according to IUCN.

Over 15 life-size sculptures,crafted meticulously & perched atop pedestals will be scattered thruout Entebbe by the end of this month.They serve as tangible reminders of Uganda's ecological richness,& UWEC ongoing conservation efforts aimed at preserving biodiversity.
