Wonderful news! One million more free to view pages on the The British Newspaper Archive That’s over three million altogether, and there’s some cracking titles in there!

Historians and DH colleagues please take 5 mins to respond to this consultation (email). The plan is to destroy the originals. Anyone who had worked with digitised collections will know it is vital we keep the originals as well as digitise.
