This is despicable! Shout out to Serge Dedina who first brought this issue to the national stage. How do we get the attention of a nation when one stands on the beach overlooking a blue ocean with blue sky? Shock and awe is what it takes. E. coli came close.

Emerald Keepers is pleased to see a unified front to convince Washington it is time to put a stop to sewage on our beaches.

If 35 million gallons of sewage were being spilled on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. every day, our government would’ve taken action long ago.

We’re calling on our leaders to recognize the Tijuana sewage crisis for the emergency it is - NOW! ⚠️⚠️

So proud of D'amy Steward, CHS Class of 2016, for her work with coral restoration, NOAA, and a conservancy that surveys manta rays. She is making a difference. Let's all do our part to help our ocean.

IB, Coronado, and Mexico deserve clean beaches!

And Coronado is the only beach City between IB and Oceanside without a plastics ban. We can and must do better.

It is time for Coronado to join one of two community choice power groups. Coronado needs clean power now!
