Hilary Cass, along with not specializing in gender medicine, clearly has no idea about trans history. Britain has treated trans children since the 1930s, not 1970s! 18+ youth started in 1910s Berlin. Also, the idea that there are more trans women was invented in the 20th century!

The Cass Report would not pass peer review. I highly doubt they even read their references. She cites an article noting low persistence rates based on conversion therapists' data of 25 kids & another on 1980s figures conflating not returning to a specific clinic with desistance!
