2️⃣ Similar to what milkomeda did with wrapped smart contracts, they could be using Cardano dapps wrapping them

In feb 2023 Cardano had the CIP49 upgrade

Plutus can be used to verify/approve signatures coming from Bitcoin wallets with native support from plutus iteself.

This means that Cardano smart contracts can interact with BTC
