The @PetATreeUganda initiative managed to have 2000 trees planted in Tooro under the Greening Tooro during Ekyooto Ha Mpango. We are proud to be part of the solution to mitigating effects of climate change.

We concluded our national wide Covid-19 vaccination drive at the #EkyootoHaMpango which was graced by Rukirabasaija Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. Over 20,065 people were vaccinated in our #PlayYourPart campaign. We thank the medical personnel for the great job done.

I also distributed Oxygen Cylinders to all health centers around the Kingdom to help our patients.

I call upon all people of Tooro to get vaccinated. News of new variants is worrying and it's best to get vaccinated earlier. On Thursday, I launched a vaccination drive in Tooro Kingdom and we have so far vaccinated 785 people in Fort Portal alone.

To mark the end of Ekyooto Ha Mpango festivities, we thanked God for the successful events and taking us through the most difficult part the of year (Covid-19) at a thanksgiving service I hosted at Karuzika Palace yesterday.

At #EkyootoHaMpango hotels were full, while restaurants, salons and taxi services were busier than usual. Exhibitors showcased their produce & talents, while sporting events promoted healthy lifestyles.

#EkyootoHaMpango confirms our conviction UN Development that tourism is a great integrator to promote development across sectors and Uganda must position herself at all levels (domestic, regional & global).
