Do judges enjoy reading out their judgments in open court? If they do not, why not just do away with it? They either have the power to/the ability to lobby those who have the power to. I’m sure we’d happily trade that for uploaded judgments. 🤷🏾‍♂️

This mindset of judges is why we don't have a robust cost regime and is a big factor in the anyhowness of lawyers in the litigation process. Cost is a fundamental part of the litigation process, that makes parties and their lawyers alert.

It’s human to almost regret certain ways you show up for people, especially when it’s not reciprocated, and that’s why the Bible urges us - “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
