After 13 years in Cumbria we have only had a fleeting glimpse of a fox so we were delighted to have a brush with fantastic fox cubs rolling and wrestling in the sunshine. It was a truly spell binding experience and reminder how amazing the great outdoors really is…

Back to CumbriaWildlifeTrust Smardale nature reserve today. The photography was challenging. The red squirrels were far to fast for me, the rabbit tried to hide from me, the butterflies were too flighty and the newly fledged kestrel swooped and soared at great speed.
