It's exciting to see researchers come together to fix scientific publishing.

I was considering submitting a paper to Nature Ecology and Evolution, then I saw that the open access fee was 12 THOUSAND dollars! What the actual crap!? I can do a lot of research for 12k. Charging authors 12 grand to publish THEIR OWN work is the craziest nonsense imaginable
