Ali Barak Ravid Axios The only way for there to be a legitimate, sovereign Palestinian state, is for the two parties in the region who are splitting the land, to negotiate and come to an agreement, not for the UN to step in and say Palestine is now a state, that doesn't solve anything

Toronto Subways or Mike Sampat Ali Barak Ravid Axios Except, it's not how Israel was founded, do a little more research. Israel's sovereign borders when it officially became a state only bordered Egypt and Jordan, there was no Palestine trying to split the land in half. Also there's a historic precedent for Israel's existence.
