We are honoured & delighted to announce that the remarkable Katarzyna Monika Pawlak has been elected as the ESGE Young Endoscopists (EYE) Committee chair. Thanks to the other exceptional candidates who presented & to Andrei Voiosu for his tireless dedication to the role in the previous term.

Xavier Dray, France, is now presenting in the Champs Den. He‘s promising to „take the Dragons to Paradise“ with his curiously titled AI research project. He‘s competing against 9 others to win an ESGE research grant.

Champions Den at #ESGEDays2024 continues as our 10 finalists battle for a research grant from ESGE. Next we have Davide Massimi, Italy, whose research is focused on enhanced recovery after surgery. Will he impress the dragons?

Next to face the dragons in the Champions Den is Theodor Voiosu. Trying to convince that endoscopists need to be taught Kung Fu 🤨. The research is all about ERCP training by tele-mentoring. #ESGEDays2024 .

Nanette van Roermund next up in the Research Champions Den with research about FIT based training programme. Jeanin van Hooft: „You need co-financing- how about that? You‘ll get the data, then what?“ #ESGEDays2024

Clelia Marmo now presenting in the Research Champions Den on the subject of capsule endoscopy in emergency setting. „We like definitive conclusions!“ says George Webster ! Our finalists are battling for an ESGE research grant. Will she have success?

Next up in the Research Champions‘ Den is Veronique Van der Voort. „A very interesting and important project“ according to Horst Neuhaus! Also Klaus Mönkemüller, MD, PhD keen to question from the audience!
