It’s taken me an hour to go less than four miles via bus. Rush hour in Birmingham is in full swing and 90% of the cars I’ve seen have one person in them. Bus and cycle lanes don’t waste space, motorists do.

Laura Creaven There’s a reason for single occupancy cars. That’s because the occupant needs to get to a particular location, via a route different to anyone else and a bus service doesn’t cover that need.

Ecosage Laura Creaven Yes, then my 10min commute would take an extra 2 hours carrying 15kg in one of the wettest counties in the country. Great plan!

Ecosage Laura Creaven With an overall climb of 800ft? Still getting wet & nowhere at work to get dried & changed. Take a peak outside of your tiny world.
