In support, and to raise awareness, Newton Aycliffe Library have put together a display demonstrating just a small selection of the books Durham Libraries have on offer, including sign language guides for both adults and children!

May is Local History Month! If you're interested in learning more about this wonderful county and the surrounding area, why not call in at Chester-le-Street Library! They have a wonderful array of displays featuring old maps, local authors and photos of the library's past!

Looking for a way to spend your Thursday mornings? Why not pop into Coundon Library from 10-11:30am for their weekly Social Morning. You can enjoy books, games, puzzles or just a casual chat.
You can find the library upstairs in the Eden Centre on Victoria Lane.

May is National #ShareAStoryMonth - a perfect time to celebrate some of the classics we all know so well!

The pupils of Sunnybrow School paid a visit to Willington Library to do some colouring and check out their selection of junior books! It's always lovely to see the younger generation coming in to make use of the service! 🥰
