This #EuropeDay2023 Ports, Past & Present marks the way #EUIrelandWales funding is making a difference to people, businesses & communities by celebrating the Irish Sea Ports Network & the vibrant business people & volunteers that make the ports great places to live in & visit!
Does anyone have a recommendation of off the shelf/open source online exhibition software (not OMEKA, even though I love it)? Ideally mobile first & with good integration for podcasts etc. Any suggestions gratefully received Irish Museums Association (IMA) Museums Computer Group
It was lovely to end my last lecture of the year for UCCArtHist with a discussion of the beautiful Quad, Pugin, Ruskin, Benjamin Woodward & the mighty ‘Nature of Gothic’. Thanks to all the students who let me know how much they are enjoying looking up & appreciating architecture
I really hope we send John Lydon to the Eurovision. What a beautiful message about diaspora, love and Alzheimer's disease. Who cares about what a ‘Eurovision Song’ is? #LateLateShow

It’s Christmas Eve, I’m peeling sprouts and boiling the ham and there are two turtle doves in the garden! Thanks to Shane Clarke for buying me the book ‘Wilding’ so I could identify the turtle doves as something so special 🕊️
Rosie is a descendant of the Staffords of Baldwinstown House that just appeared on #sellingirelandsdreamhomes The Stafford sisters are pictured in the garden of the house here. The pin, now Rosie’s, was given to Maureen Stafford by the Queen for acting as her midwife Emma Gilleece
We are still so honoured by this achievement; thank you to the Council of Europe for recognising the great work that happens in Nano Nagle Place
